I am so excited that I needed to share this with all my friends. My patterns will start having an alphabetic character instead of a numeric character for the bead color in word charts. Well, I finally finished the spiral earrings for the jewelry set. The first one gave me fits. I couldn’t get it to come out right. I forgot to tie off the first set of beads so the bottom started coming out. The second earring went better. I love the way they came out. I had a picture in my mind what I wanted and they came out just like I thought they would. I did the spiral stitch different than I have seen it done before so that the flow went better.

Well, it took me a while to do my first necklace but I worked up a Gunmetal and White Pearl Ceylon spiral necklace. Then I didn’t have any end caps so did some looking around and found tutorials for various types of end caps. The one that I finally used as my inspiration was from Ann Benson of Beads East. I have been thinking about joining for the last 7 years. My daughter and I talked about joining together when she moved down to Freer. We thought we would drive up here each month for the meetings.
