I am so excited that I needed to share this with all my friends. My patterns will start having an alphabetic character instead of a numeric character for the bead color in word charts. This will make reading your word charts a lot easier. Below are samples of the old version and the new version so you can see what the difference is and see why I am so excited about it.
How did this come about, you ask? Discussions started in some beading groups that I belong to. They wanted to know if we could put an [...]
I just uploaded both the paperback and Kindle versions of my Cooking for Two: Add Candles for a Romantic Meal Cookbook. I went back in and took another look at them and saw some revisions that needed to be made to the cookbook. All the recipes are the same. I just put them into a better order and reformatted the way the recipes look. I was able to turn my Project [...]

Then I didn’t have any end caps so did some looking around and found tutorials for various types of end caps. The one that I finally used as my inspiration was from Ann Benson of Beads East. This was the first time that I have worked with tubular peyote. It was fun to work with once I learned to do it. I wanted to make the beaded end caps in the Gunmetal but didn’t have any size [...]
I have been thinking about joining for the last 7 years. My daughter and I talked about joining together when she moved down to Freer. We thought we would drive up here each month for the meetings. But, since they are in the middle of the week, there was no way we could do this as her children are in school then.
I talked to Krista, a member of the Bead Patterns Boutique Yahoo group, when she responded to a message on the group for people who lived in San Antonio. I was so excited to have a beader that [...]
