Busy Week
I started my cuff last week. You know the one I teased you with by talking about it in the blog Work In Progress. It was toward the bottom of the article. Well, I finished it tonight. I worked on it while we were waiting to see the doctor in San Antonio and all week long. I kept having to take it out for one reason or another. I will be glad when these cuffs become second nature to me like it is with some of you other EBW members. I even designed the toggles to match the bracelet theme. I will be listing this in my Etsy shop tomorrow, I think. I can be really proud of this cuff because I designed it as well as beaded it. I hope you all like it. I used Translucent Amethyst and Silver Lined Pink to work up this creation.
Drum Roll Please! Let me present Mirrored Images Cuff
I had thought about putting something in the center of the cuff but then decided against it. I liked the simplicity of it. This cuff measures about 2 1/2 inches by 8 inches so will fit someone between a size 7-7 1/2 inch wrist if I understand how the cuffs work. Tomorrow, I will start work on a cuff that I created with the new challenge, Complementary Contradictions, in mind. I am not sure if I will use this cuff or a pendant and spiral rope that also created with this challenge in mind. I will wait until I get them both done to decide which one I want to enter. I have beads ordered so that I can complete them both on time, I hope. I am going to try these in Delicas to see if they are any easier to work with.
