One Tired Woman
Hello all, it has been a couple of weeks since I last posted here. I have been in the process of moving to our new home. Boy, we accrued quite a bit of junk when we moved. Hubby hasn’t been able to help much because of his work schedule and he is bone tired by the time he gets some days off. He did manage to get our bed, the living room couch, 2 TVs, my dishwasher, the refrigerator and freezer over here, as well as all of his tools and lawn equipment. Oh, yes, with the help of my sister-in-law and a friend, we got an entertainment center in our bedroom. Tomorrow, we need to go over and get the other bed for upstairs, 2 desks, 2 dressers, and the washer/dryer combo (plus lots more junk that is still over there). I will be glad when this move is over. I really do appreciate all the help that my daughter and her children have been giving. They gave up their Spring Break to help move quite a bit of stuff. And, Angel came down last weekend while the children were at their dad’s house to help me. Her and the children will be coming down every weekend until they move in for good. Then comes the cleaning up of the old house, replacing tiles on the floor, and getting the house as ready as we can for the new renters. My daughter will help me with this stuff too. I’m glad my daughter loves me. LOL
I did get a reprieve for 3 days. I went up to San Antonio to be with my daughter and her 2 children Monday thru this morning. I am back to the grindstone now. That is ok, they will be down tomorrow evening so that we can celebrate Anna’s birthday (granddaughter).
I have not had any time to really work on making any beadwork. I plan to start taking the time every day to do so though. I have 2 orders for my rings (one in pinks like the one shown and the other will pick out the colors as soon as I get them all together).
Had to order the size crystals needed. For any of you who do your own beading, you can pick up kits for this ring at crystalwonders Etsy site. I also have an order for another ring which isn’t shown in my album yet as I haven’t made one yet but still need supplies for it.
I really do need to get busy. I still need to add more items to my Etsy and icraft accounts as well as my website. I have crochet topped towels that I need to add to my website now that I have found them. I also am going to be getting rid of a lot of my yarn in the near future. It doesn’t get cool enough here to be making very many afghans. I can’t stand getting hotter and hotter while I try to make them. I need to see what other items that I no longer want and add them to the items to get rid of.
Well, I had better be getting to work. Can’t get anywhere sitting here at the computer other than visiting with my friends as much as I enjoy doing this. Talk with you later.
