Starting Over on Challenge Entry

Well, my Etsy Beadweavers Team Challenge entry finally got the best of me.  I am starting my bracelet over.  I will be using peyote stitch this time instead of the brick stitch.  My bracelet kept falling apart on me and I would not pass on that bracelet to anyone….not even as a gift.  I would be afraid that it would fall apart on the owner’s wrist.  I couldn’t have that.  I took the brick stitch pattern my daughter had made and turned it around to a peyote stitch.  Wish me luck that I get it done in time.  I only have 3 days plus whatever is left of tonight.  I may have bought a bad roll of PowerPro because this is about the 4th time that it has fallen apart and this was at the very beginning of the bracelet not where I could take it out and start from there.  Hopefully it is not the PowerPro as I bought a 300 yard roll this time.  Well, better get to work beading or I won’t make it.

I dont know if this helps or not but always thread your needle on the end of the spool. Then cut off you thread. I know…… a friend who has been quilting for years told me this trick. I have almost no fraying or breakage. It has something to do with they way they spin the thread onto the spool.
