Work in Progress
Right now, I am working on making some earrings for an earring swap for my group, Pamys Bead Swap. They were due out July 25 but Pamy gratiously extended the due date to Aug 15. I have 3 pair done and want to get a couple more done before I send them off.
I am also working on a pendant that I have designed for the next EBW Challenge called Contradictory Contradictions. It took a little thinking about what I wanted to do but I finally came up with an idea. Did the research and came up with some pictures that I liked. And, then, went to my BeadTool3 and created about 6 different designs. I had my husband and my daughter look at the examples and we narrowed it down to 1. It was my favorite anyway. LOL Now all I have to do is get the right beads and bead the pendant and the spiral necklace to go with it. I can’t believe that time is flying so fast.By the way, for those of you who have not gone and voted for the EBW Art Deco Challenge, go have a look and vote. There are some really gorgeous pieces of beadwork in this challenge. And, before you ask, no, I don’t have an entry in this challenge. I was too late for the deadline. But, as I said above, I will have one in the next challenge. When I was researching Art Deco for the Etsy Bead Weavers (EBW) Art Deco Challenge, I googled Art Deco for pictures. One of the pictures that inspired one of my own designs was an art deco lamp. While I was looking at the front page on Etsy today, lo and behold, there was my inspiration. This piece was created by BrazanDesigns. Go have a look at it. It is wonderful. In the future, I will be creating the cuff so all of you can see what this nightlight inspired. I will try to do it soon.

I love the little ladybugs and the blue ones are beautiful. I can’t wait to see next month’s entry.
I also wanted to let you know that I have a blog award for you. http://threefatesdesign.blogspot.com/
