Working on Challenge Bracelet

I have been working on the cuff that might be my entry in the EBW Complementary Contradictions Challenge. I kinda wish that I had never thought of the idea. The idea sounded feasible and it is workable but it is very difficult to get done. I think the embellishing is going to take longer than the bracelet ever took. I have been working on the embellishing for 3 days now. I forgot that I don’t like bead embroidery and embellishing is like bead embroidery.  It wouldn’t be so bad but I am having a hard time getting the needle through the holes of the delicas in the basic bracelet.  Hopefully finish it in the next couple of days so that I can get to working on my next project.I have 2 designs that I am thinking about but can only enter one of them. I want to get them both done so I can decide which one I like best after they are beaded. The second design that I am considering is a pendant and spiral chain. I hope I can get them both done in time to make a decision or it will be the bracelet.Wish me luck. I am bound and determined that I will enter this challenge this month.

You’ve got me curious now! I can’t wait to see it.

  2. Can’t wait to see what comes from all of your frustration. And Sarah is right, be careful not to break a bead. I’m so afraid of doing that that I use C-Lon AA thread – it’s tiny and thin, but super strong.

  3. Marilyn,i know you! you will get it done!!!

  4. After Hamunaptra I can totally sympathize! Just be careful not to break a bead!

Where there’s a will there’s a way. I’ll bet you finish in time. Can’t wait to see what you come up with. There are some really cool entries so far.
